This time around, you may skip Telarion all together!
After completing the initial “dream” sequence at the start of the game, you will be given the option to skip the rest of the tutorial in the Telarion chapter all together.
This was a requested feature from previous users, so we decided to include it in the current closed beta!
Wolf King, Have at Thee!
The farmlands of Verde Acre have been recently plagued with sporadic wolf attacks. Farmers are constantly losing livestock to these vicious creatures. Travelers at local taverns whisper of an intimidating beast that seems to serve as a pack leader to these wolves. Travel to the creature’s den and slay it to bring peace to the nearby countryside!
Your first Field Boss encounter will be the Wolf King.
Like all combat in Bless Unleashed, frequent dodging is important to avoid damage. This is especially true for the Wolf King, as he will repeatedly have telegraphs that will be clear indications of his attack patterns.
During the fight, Wolf King will roar and cause a quick time event to initiate. If the player does not complete the button input quickly enough, Wolf King will pounce and deal massive damage to the player.
Wolf King will also summon wolves or “adds” during the fight; the number of wolves is dependent on how many players are actively in combat with him. An effective strategy is to take out these wolves as fast as possible to minimize the amount of incoming damage.
It’s important to note that Wolf King, like all enemies that exist in Bless Unleashed, has a specific range in which he can do combat in. If the player that currently holds his attention drifts too far, the fight will reset, and Wolf King’s Health Points will return to full.
Bonus Tip: A nearby Soul Pyre can serve as a place to heal your wounds and party up with fellow adventurers. Standing near the magical flames will heal you over time; sitting down will speed up your HP recovery as well. Make sure you’re prepared for the Wolf King and any other enemies that come your way!
