Can I switch my Partner's summoning or possession status at any time?

Costumes, accessories, and other items will be automatically added to each section of character customization. Equipment such as bonus weapons can be purchased at the weapon shop in the base “MagMell”.

I'm stuck and can't beat a boss... how can I get stronger?

Strengthening your player and Partner gives you an advantage in boss battles. Your player's combat ability increases by raising their character level and enhancing weapons, Jails, and Bequeathed Formae. You can also boost the performance of "Regeneration" using "Golden Nectar" and "Golden Blood Beads" obtained through field exploration, or gain various benefits by interacting with "Regional Pathos" scattered throughout the world. For Partners, enhancing their jail increases their attack power, and raising their affinity unlocks new companion trait bonuses.

Can Partners become incapacitated?

Your Partner won't die from enemy attacks, but if your player's HP is depleted, it will activate “Restorative Offering” to share its vitality with you, leaving itself temporarily incapacitated. After a set amount of time, your Partner will automatically revive.

I want to travel with a specific Partner, but they aren't available at the Mistletoe.

Partners can only accompany the player in their own timeline, so they may not be summonable in different timelines.

Additionally, depending on story progression, some partners may become temporarily unavailable for summoning, or only specific buddies may be selectable.

How do I increase my Blood Code proficiency?

Blood Code proficiency increased by defeating enemies matching the strength of your Blood Code. Battles against weaker foes yield lower proficiency gains.

What should I do to acquire powerful Blood Codes?

The Blood Code entrusted to you by your Partner can be used to obtain a higher-tier Blood Code by speaking to the corresponding character after maximizing its proficiency.
You can also acquire Blood Codes by defeating certain powerful enemies.

Can I re-watch cutscenes?

You can revisit cutscenes from the bookshelf within “The Confluence,” accessible via “Talk to Lou” in the Mistle menu.

What does "Load Previous State" mean on the LOAD screen?

When the player touches the Mistle, the game performs an auto-save at regular intervals. Selecting “Load Previous State” allows you to load from one of these auto-saves and resume the game.
