How to switch the character who hasn’t been unlocked yet (How to use Online Storage Functionality)

※Please switch the team through “DREAM TEAM EDIT” in “ULTIMATE EDIT” before participating in the Event Match.

1. Select “Custom Team” with L1・R1/ L・R/ Q・E through “EDIT DREAM TEAM” in “ULTIMATE EDIT”
   
   
2. When you select “Edit Team”, “Open Online-based Team List” will be displayed in the upper right corner, and you can select △/X/F as indicated.
   
3. Move the cursor to the fifth team, and press "Switch Team" (□ /Y /R ) to switch the "WorldStars" team with the local team you want to change.
   
   
4. If your local team contains the "WorldStars" team, you are done.
    
5. After that, replace the target player with the local “WorldStars” player by clicking “Edit Player” →”Change Players”.
   
   ※At this time, if you replace a player with a MS Team or Rep Team other than the edit team, the player on the Edit Team cannot be returned to the team, so make sure to replace the player on both Edit Teams.
   
   

How to save the custom character to the Online Storage

1. If you play through to the end of "EPISODE: NEW HERO" in “THE JOURNEY", you can save players online in the “Custom Player" section.
   
   
2. If you have more than 20 local edit characters, you will see the message “registered as an online-based player". Then, click “YES” and go back to the Select Player screen.
   
   ※If you have less than 19 edits, the player will not be saved online, but will be saved locally.
   
3. In the upper right corner, you will see the notation "Open Online-based Player Roster," so select the △/X /F as indicated.
   
4. When the orange screen appears, use the OPTION/ + / Esc to complete the player registration, and select "YES" to complete the registration.
   

How to switch the Edit Character (How to use online saved players)

1. In the "CHARACTER EDIT" section of the "ULTIMATE EDIT" menu, you can use the △/X/F keys to select the player you want to replace in the “Custom Player” of the “Edit Team" section.
   
2. When the number of local edit characters is set to 20, select the △ /X /F in the "Open Online-based Player Roster" section displayed in the upper right corner.
   
   ※If you have 19 or less registered custom characters, you will not be taken to the online saved players screen.
   
3. When the orange screen appears, select the player you want to replace from the online list.
   
4. Select the player you want to replace from the local list.
   
5. Select "YES" on the confirmation screen to complete the replacement.
