When DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 3 launches in 2027, those loyal fans can receive a special reward for their involvement in XENOVERSE 2 by linking their XENOVERSE 2 game account to their Bandai Namco ID and uploading a small packet of information about their game called “Link Data” for transfer to XENOVERSE 3.

This Link Data contains information about specific achievements within XENOVERSE 2 in order to unlock special rewards in XENOVERSE 3.

What is Bandai Namco ID?

Your Bandai Namco ID is a special account that can be used to access a variety of services and content offered by the Bandai Namco Group.

What do I need to set up a Bandai Namco ID?

In order to make a Bandai Namco ID account, please to go to the Bandai Namco ID site sign up page. You can register using your email address or an account from an external service displayed on the registration screen.

It’s not necessary to match the account you use to sign up for a Bandai Namco ID to the platform you use to play XENOVERSE 2 or the platform you intend to use to play XENOVERSE 3, you can always link other platform accounts to your ID later in the process.  

It’s also not necessary to match your platform between your copy of XENOVERSE 2 and XENOVERSE 3. Once your XENOVERSE 2 Link Data is uploaded to your Bandai Namco ID account, it can be used to unlock your rewards on any platform where you have a valid copy of XENOVERSE 3

How do I upload my XENOVERSE 2 Link Data to my Bandai Namco ID?

Once you have your Bandai Namco ID account created and verified, open up XENOVERSE 2 and look for the “Upload Link Data” button on the main menu page.

After pressing the button, you should see a QR code displayed in your game. Scan this code with any QR-enabled device and you will be forwarded to a special web link for the next step in the process.

After scanning the QR code, the Bandai Namco ID login page will appear. Please log in to your Bandai Namco ID.

Next, on the “Confirm Link” page, make sure the correct platform is selected, then press “Link.” This will link your game and your Xenoverse 2 platform account to your Bandai Namco ID.

Then, sign in to the account for the selected platform. Once completed, a message confirming that your game and platform account is linked to your Bandai Namco ID will appear.

Now that your game and platform account are linked to your Bandai Namco ID, return to the game’s title screen, select “Upload Link Data” again, and follow the on-screen instructions to upload your data.

Congratulations! Your XENOVERSE 2 Link Data has been successfully uploaded to your Bandai Namco ID.

What will I get in XENOVERSE 3 if I link my XENOVERSE 2 game to my Bandai Namco ID?

There are a number of different rewards you can redeem in DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 3 depending on your participation in certain events in DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2.

Final Festival of Universes participation and performance rewards

Players who participate in the Final Festival of Universes in XENOVERSE 2 (which begins OCTOBER 30, 2026) by completing certain requirements can also obtain rewards in XENOVERSE 3 after linking their XENOVERSE 2 Link Data to their Bandai Namco ID.

All players who unlock the Final Festival Uniform (Gold) during the Final Festival are eligible to unlock a Martial Arts Festival Outfit (Rare Color・Gold) costume in XENOVERSE 3 through linking their Bandai Namco ID and uploading their Link Data for XENOVERSE 2.

Players who collect enough Glory Points during the Final Festival of Universes to unlock the Final Festival Uniform (Rainbow) in the Final Festival are eligible to unlock a Martial Arts Festival Outfit (Rare Color・Rainbow) costume in XENOVERSE 3 through uploading their XENOVERSE 2 Link Data to their Bandai Namco ID.

Final Festival of Universes Medal Item Rewards

Players who receive Final Festival: Medal items in the Final Festival of Universes in XENOVERSE 2 (which will begin OCTOBER 30, 2026) may also be eligible to unlock up to 21 Acrylic Figures in XENOVERSE 3 through uploading their XENOVERSE 2 Link Data to their Bandai Namco ID, based on how many Final Festival: Medal items they received.

Players who receive Final Festival: Medal items in the Final Festival of Universes in XENOVERSE 2 (which will begin October 30, 2026) may also be eligible to unlock up to 21 Acrylic Figures in XENOVERSE 3 by uploading their XENOVERSE 2 Link Data to their Bandai Namco ID. The Acrylic Figures available in XENOVERSE 3 will vary depending on which Final Festival: Medal items players obtained in XENOVERSE 2.

For example:

• Final Festival: Trunks Medal → Trunks Acrylic Figure
• Final Festival: Supreme Kai of Time Medal → Supreme Kai of Time Acrylic Figure 1

How can I redeem my rewards in XENOVERSE 3 after linking both XENOVERSE 2 AND XENOVERSE 3 to my Bandai Namco ID?
