Fishing Tournaments and More!
Our Spring Update is coming to Bless Unleashed soon, and we're excited to share two sneak peeks into the update this week! Let's take a look at Fishing Competitions and the new quest pathing system!
Competition Fishing
Whether you consider yourself a novice fisherman or a professional angler, the new Fishing Competition system is really exciting! This new system will feature weekly and regional competitions, with difficulties suitable for everyone's skill level!
Each weekly competition will be divided into groups which have target species to cast for. This includes two competitions for small and medium species for beginners, one for medium and large species for intermediate fishers, and for you professional anglers out there, we have one competition to catch large species only.
Competitions will kick off at 5:00 AM UTC! So make sure to set your alarm clocks early if you're angling to get a head start on the competition! In order for your entry to each contest to be eligible, you'll need to catch a fish of a target size or larger guaranteeing a prize for participating! However, once you catch a qualifying fish, you're entered automatically!
Rewards will include fishing gear, crafting materials and other goodies! The better your catch, the better your rewards!
New Quest Pathing System
We're also happy to introduce a new feature for those of you who may be new to the game, or are struggling finding your way around the world of Lumios! Our new pathing system can be turned on and off in the Quest Log, and will provide players a guided path to their next quest location, helping to ensure that you don't wander too far from your objectives! Of course, if you prefer to find your way on your own, you can always disable it in the Quest Log! We will be introducing the pathing system in the Spring Update, with many quests having paths enabled at launch of the system. We'll be adding more quests as we continue to improve Bless Unleashed.
