Thanks to everyone's support, MY HERO ULTRA RUMBLE has reached its second anniversary since launch! We are extremely grateful for the many players around the world who have been enjoying the game.

Also, we would like to thank everyone for their opinions and feedback. We carefully review all feedback, and hope you will continue to share your thoughts with us as you play the game.

We have been implementing various updates in order to make MHUR more accessible not only to our regular players, but also to new players and those returning after taking a break.

We hope that you will take this opportunity to try out these new features while enjoying the second anniversary festivities. 

Since we already explained the details of Season 13's updates in the "Developer Blog Vol. 22," in this letter we would like to express our gratitude to all players in light of the game's second anniversary and introduce some of the highlights of the upcoming Season.

New Playable Character - Izuku Midoriya OFA

Season 13 introduces Izuku Midoriya OFA as a new playable character! Izuku Midoriya OFA is joining the fray with a unique play style different from the original Izuku Midoriya, who was available at the game's release.

Not only have all of his Quirk Skills been completely redesigned, but his Special Action has also been revamped. Able to increase his movement speed and jumping power, by entering Overdrive he can also switch to even more powerful moves.

While maintaining Overdrive, he's capable of toying with opponents, making him a fun character to use. Izuku Midoriya OFA will be obtainable from Rolls throughout Season 13, so we hope players will enjoy getting their hands on him!

Additionally, starting with Season 13, we will be unifying characters and their Quirk Skill Sets under the name "Battle Style". Please be aware of the following changes!

Example: Izuku Midoriya
Izuku Midoriya (Default) → Izuku Midoriya Battle Style: Original
Izuku Midoriya (Full Bullet) → Izuku Midoriya Battle Style: Full Bullet

Area Battles and Special Anniversary UI

Continuing from Season 12, Season 13 will also feature Area Battles! We've made various adjustments, but one of the biggest changes is the addition of the "Capturer" and "Scorer" roles exclusive to Area Battles! The "Capturer" role reduces the time it takes to secure an area, while the "Scorer" increases your team's points when in your team's B area. Try switching between characters to capture or defend an area, depending on the situation!

The lobby will have special decorations to celebrate the second anniversary! We have also prepared some special features in the lobby, so we hope you enjoy them!

Beginner Missions and Roll Implementation

Starting with Season 13, we've added new missions for beginners! By completing these missions, players can earn various items including EXP for progressing Special Licenses. For players just starting out, try clearing these missions first and unlocking Battle Styles! By completing all missions, players will also receive a Roll Ticket for the Beginner Mission Roll. In this special Roll, players can obtain one Battle Style from Rolls released in Season 7 or earlier, guaranteed!

2nd Anniversary Roll Implementation

To commemorate the second anniversary, a new Select Hot Picks Roll and Anniversary Special Roll will be implemented. In these Rolls, players can choose their own featured characters, allowing them to select eight of your own from all Battle Style Rolls released in Season 12 and earlier.

The Select Hot Picks Roll is a 10-pull Roll in which your chosen eight characters are featured. You can also Roll for free using the special Roll Ticket distributed as a login bonus once a week! Don't forget to log in every week!

The Anniversary Special Roll is a premium Roll in which players can obtain one of eight characters, guaranteed. Players can obtain an Anniversary Special Roll ticket for free by raising their Hero License rank to 30, or by purchasing one from the Shop!

Implementation of Comeback Login Bonus

For players who have not logged in recently and are returning after an absence, a special login bonus has been added! Returning players can earn up to 200 Roll Tickets over seven days, so please use them with your favorite Roll and use your new characters in battle! 

*Only players who have not logged in since 12:29 PM on August 20, 2025 (JST) are eligible.

Collab Campaign with MY HERO ULTRA IMPACT

As announced on our official social media accounts, we will be launching a collab campaign with MY HERO ULTRA IMPACT starting at 5:00 PM on September 25, 2025! Complete missions in MY HERO ULTRA RUMBLE to obtain 50 pieces of each of the 29 Character Data types! By linking a Bandai Namco ID between both titles and completing missions in MY HERO ULTRA IMPACT, players can obtain an additional 100 pieces of Character Data! Take this opportunity to fine-tune your favorite costumes! Please check the official campaign website, which will be released at a later date, for details such as how to link your Bandai Namco ID!

Season PV

We created a special PV that briefly looks back on Seasons 8 through 12, showcasing the contrast between Villains and Heroes. Have you seen it yet? We hope it gives you a good idea of the costumes and characters appearing in this season, so please be sure to check it out! (And at the end...?)

Upcoming Playable Character - All For One

While this character's release is still a little ways off, we would like to introduce another new playable character, All For One! His first appearance is in this season's PV! We have developed this character to be incredibly fun to use, as he can unleash skills while moving through the air and mow down opponents over a wide area! More details will be announced on our official social media channels at a later date, so please look forward to it!

Finally, we are extremely grateful that we have been able to celebrate our first and second anniversaries with you. We will continue development with our eyes on Season 14, Season 15 and beyond, and strive to continue providing new battle styles and content for everyone to enjoy. We hope you will continue to support us!
