Once Upon A KATAMARI for Nintendo Switch 2 introduces exclusive new mouse controls, alongside smoother framerate and enhanced graphics from the Nintendo Switch version. Existing Nintendo Switch players who upgrade their game to Nintendo Switch 2 can transfer their save data, provided no save data already exists on the system. For players on all platforms who want to keep the fun rolling, the Rolling LIVE Highlights DLC brings 10 quests and their iconic soundtracks from the mobile game Katamari Damacy Rolling LIVE, where everything revolves around live streaming. Players will roll alongside Earth's streamers, meet new cousins, and grow their Katamari to help the King stay ahead of the trends, impress his fans, and become even more popular.
As a new sequel in the legendary franchise, Once Upon A KATAMARI sends The Prince and his Katamari across time itself, gathering up objects through the Jurassic Period, the Ice Age, historic Japan and more to restore the stars to the heavens. The game pairs the series’ memorable music with a new soundtrack, customization options for The Prince and his cousins, power-ups such as the magnet that pulls in nearby items, and Katamari Ball, as well as a competitive multiplayer mode.
