May 16, 2025

Hello Drifters! This is Futami, producer of SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada. Thank you as always for your support in this title.

As we approach the beginning of Season 2, I would like to reflect on the feedback and requests we've received since launchand the improvements and new content that users can look forward to in the new season!

Fixes / Adjustments Overview

  • Weapon/Cradle Adjustments
  • Easier Requests and Increased Rewards to Improve Early Game Difficulty
  • Fixes to Matching Rates, Bug Fixes for Specific Operations, and Other Minor Bug Fixes

For more details, please check the patch notes here

Leading up to the launch of Season 2, we have focused on improving the game balance and overall experience based on users’ feedback. In particular, we have significantly improved the early game experience, making it easier for new players to access Season 2 content as quickly as possible – including a new PvE area!

Feedback and Improvements

For those who have been away from the game for a while, or those who are thinking of starting anew, now is the perfect time to jump in. In Season 2, we have significantly improved the early game experience.

Requests that previously could take 30-60 hours to complete are now reduced to around 10-20 hours, and the rewards have been adjusted to match the content of the requests.

In addition, we have improved the matching system so players, especially newcomers, are better matched with those of similar skill levels. We've also adjusted the requirements of Sortie points so that more appropriate players match each other based on kill-focused rates.

Furthermore, all players can now obtain certain weapons and Cradle previously restricted by what faction they were a part of, giving players greater flexibility and options in how they can play.

Economic adjustments have also been made, allowing you to earn 2-3 times more when selling AO Crystals, meaning players can make progress quicker – and recover faster from losses.

We have also reduced the time and materials required to craft Cradles, increased drop rates, and made other adjustments based on users’ requests to provide a more fluid experience.

Overall, we have tried to make game progression more rewarding and less restrictive than it was before for current players and newcomers alike.

Season 2 Content

In Season 2, the new stage "Punishing Land" will be the setting for adventures unlike anything you've encountered.

In addition to what’s already been mentioned, we will be implementing new requests that lead to new areas, events, new rarity weapons and Cradles, Magus, new areas and maps, PvE end-game contents, and many other new elements that will change the way you play.

New Maps / Areas

  • Underground Factory: A complex industrial map with high-tier items guarded by powerful Enders.
  • Dream Island: A map of city ruins above toxic water, where falling means failure. High-tier items are placed here, but players need to watch their step and look out for enemy attacks. It’s a high-risk, high-reward area, and a long way down…
  • Amasia Eastern Region (Rainy Season): The Amasia Eastern Region has entered the rainy season, upgrading AO crystals, drop items, and Enders all to the high tier level. Take advantage of Cradles that become stronger in the rain and collect materials to craft the "Legendary" weapons and Cradles that will appear in S2.

S2 Mid-Season Update

  • Molten Dunes: A PvE-only area will be newly implemented! A raid event will occur where a giant Ender called the "Chaser Empress" occasionally appears, and players can participate regardless of organization. This area's intense heat wave reduces your weather resistance but strategically utilize weapons and Cradles that gain power as your weather resistance falls to overcome this boss.

In Season 2, "Punishing Land," we have incorporated various new elements and improvements so players can enjoy the world of SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada with more flexibility and depth – and newcomers have a smoother early game experience.

The entire development team will continue to strive to deliver the best possible game experience to all of you and looks forward to more feedback in the future.

Thank you for your continued support of SYNDUALITY Echo of Ada. We’ll see you in the next Sortie!
