Sao Paulo; Brazil – November 30, 2016  - Get ready for the next battle! – Organized by the fighting community Fogo no Mundo and with official support from the videogame publisher BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc., TEKKEN Extreme Tournament 2016 – one of the most important TEKKEN® events in South America – will be held in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Competitors from Bolivia, Peru, Chile, Paraguay, Argentina, Colombia, Italy, and, of course, Brazil will participate is hard-hitting tournament competition for country pride, bragging rights, and prizes. This tournament will take place this Sunday, December 4th, at the Capcana Hotel, in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The main event for the TEKKEN Extreme Tournament 2016 will include a highly disputed TEKKEN Tag Tournament 2 championship. An expected 120 competitors will have a chance to win a prize pool of $1,000.00 split between the top three finishers. Additional prizes will be given out to other combatants based on the final rankings of the tournament.

In addition to the TEKKEN Tag Tournament 2 competition, additional activities for attendees will include playable kiosks for TEKKEN 7 for PlayStation 4 provided by BANDAI NAMCO Entertainment America Inc. and Sony Brazil.   

Players who take the chance to test their fighting skills on the game will also win an exclusive TEKKEN 7 poster, print-signed by the Producer and Director of the title, Katsuhiro Harada.
