The Creation of Lumios

Daimon, the god of chaos, and Physera, the god of order, were born from nothingness. Daimon created the world and caused it to spring forth with life. Physera looked at the world and created laws for it, so that its life might learn and flourish.

Together, these primal gods of order and chaos created lesser gods to rule over the world of Lumios. Among these, Physera created five dragon gods. Iraphos, the dragon god of light and justice, Lumenas, the dragon god of darkness and magic, Paetion, the dragon god of fire and destruction, Ventos, the dragon god of wind and freedom, and one other whose name has been lost to time served as Physera’s lieutenants and helped to maintain order in the world.

Many of the lesser gods brought forth their own creations, and the first self-aware life began to spread across the world of Lumios. Lily’anthes, the world tree, created the elves, fairies, and dryads. Baraka, the great wolf, created the varg. Kuat Ran, the serpent god, created the reptilian saurin. 

Life continued on Lumios for some time, and the gods of order and chaos existed in balance for a time. But opposing forces are never truly at peace, and eventually, the gods of chaos rebelled against Physera’s restrictive laws, beginning The Dragon War.
