The God of the Winds

Ventos, the free-spirited god of the winds is one of the five dragons created by Physera. Ventos is widely known across Lumios thanks to his magical teleposts. It is said that he roams the world in the form of a dashing young man, flying wherever he desires. While he does not care for the faith of humans or their offerings, his church is highly influential nevertheless.

His greatest gift to mortals was his teleposts. For the price of a prayer and a donation to his church, a telepost may be used to travel from one location to any other previously visited telepost.

In-game, teleposts act as the fast travel solution for players wishing to quickly travel from one location to another. Unlocking a telepost is as simple as walking nearby one in-game. Once multiple teleposts have been unlocked, a player has two options to use them.

From anywhere in the world, the player may travel to a previously unlocked telepost by opening the world map and selecting the telepost they wish to visit. However, using a telepost from the world map requires spending Star Seeds, a valuable currency which is earned via gold exchange. There is a limit to how many Star Seeds can be earned each day, and it has many uses aside from teleposts. 

In addition to this, a player may travel from one telepost to another for the cost of gold or Starseed by visiting a telepost directly and interacting with it. Simply approach one telepost and interact with using the A button to open the telepost map and select which telepost you wish to travel to.

Regardless of what method you use to activate a telepost, the cost in gold or Star Seeds is increased based on the distance from where you are in the world to the telepost you wish to travel to. However, the amount of time which can be saved in this manner often outweighs the cost for many travelers in the world of Lumios.
