The Honor System First Look
We’ve been talking about the Honor System since before Bless Unleashed launched, and we’re proud to announce that it will be launching with the Saurin Deception this July!
The Honor system is the Yang to the Notoriety system’s Yin. The honor system exists to encourage players to hunt down and kill other players who repeatedly initiate open world PvP, and allows players to exact revenge on those who may be taking advantage of the open world PvP in Bless Unleashed.
Players who reach a high level of honor will enjoy increased HP, crit rate, and even damage in PvP!
Along with this new system, we’ll be introducing some changes to the way the Notoriety system works as well. To begin with, players will earn Notoriety simply by initiating an attack against other players. Players will gain more Notoriety or Honor from killing players with higher Honor or Notoriety levels, and will be able to advance in levels faster than previously. Additionally, players will be able to earn the bonuses of climbing in Honor or Notoriety sooner.
We’re also making a few other changes to the PvP system with this update. We’ll be removing the level differential rule on PvP, allowing players to attack those 5 levels below them once more. Players will also now gain notoriety for attacking and killing players in a near death state, and we’ll increase the self defense time for players who are attacked in PvP.
