Tales of Berseria Remastered will be coming to PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and Steam on Feburary 27, 2026
Tales of Berseria returns with optimized gameplay! Join Velvet on her journey for vengeance, along with her cast of eccentric companions, as they sail through the archipelago which comprises the kingdom of Midgand.

Grade Shop Available from the First Playthrough
Player can start with 11200 GRADE and access to the Grade Shop from the first playthrough. Purchased items can be toggled ON/OFF in System > Grade Shop.
*Carry over items such as levels are not available for purchase on the first playthrough.
*Some items cannot be toggled ON/OFF except when starting the game.
Added "Half-Price Shop Purchases" to Grade Shop
Added "Half-Price Shop Purchases" option to the Grade Shop, allowing all items to be purchased at half price.
*If items are already discounted based on the shop level, the prices will be half of the adjusted prices.
Increased the Default Movement speed
Increased characters' default Movement Speed by 20%.
*Also applies to Geoboard.
Simplified Item Acquisition
When picking up “already acquired items” lying on the field, you can obtain them instantly with a button press.
Added Return-to-Top Functionality in the Main Menu and Shop Menu
Pressing the designated button allows you to immediately jump to the top of the menu (or shop), no matter where you are in the hierarchy.
Added "New Objective" Indicator
The objective will automatically appear on the screen when it is updated as you progress through the game.
Added "NEW!" Icon Display
A "NEW!" icon will appear on the menu and shop category tabs when you newly acquire or learn items, artes, etc., or when new products arrive in the shop.
Added "★" destination icon and distance display to the field
A "★" icon will now be displayed on the field for main story destinations. The remaining distance to the destination will also be displayed. You can toggle the display from Menu > System > Config > "Destination Marker Display".
Added "!" sub-event icon display to the field
Characters that trigger sub-episodes when spoken to will now also display a "!" icon on the field.
Added "destination name" display when moving on the field
When approaching the entrance to another field, the name of the next field will be displayed in a pop-up.
Added item indicators to the mini-map and location map
Added icons for "Treasure Chests," "Katz Boxes," and "Herbs" to the mini-map and location map from the beginning. Also added different icons to indicate whether "Treasure Chests" and "Herbs" have been acquired or not.
*The Clairvoyant's Ventite (item that displays the remaining number of treasure chests) function remains the same as in the original version.
Changed the acquisition timing of "the Bottomless Denore Bottle" and "the Bottomless Inoph Bottle"
"The Bottomless Denore Bottle" and "the Bottomless Inoph Bottle" can now be obtained at the same time as when "Denore Bottle" and "Inoph Bottle" were first acquired in the original version. This allows for fast travel from the beginning of the game.
*Acquisition timing details for this version:
- The Bottomless Denore Bottle: After the battle with Daemon Dyle in Hadlow Hollow.
- The Bottomless Inoph Bottle: After receiving the request from Bloodwings in Loegres and speaking with the Agent in the southern Danann Highway.
Added auto-save function
Auto-saving will occur at specific times, such as after map transitions and after events.
Enhanced skip function
In addition to during events and long chats, you can now skip by pressing the designated button during the fade-out effect when staying at an inn.
Added retry function upon losing a normal battle.
Even if you lose a normal battle and the game is over, you can now choose "Retry" from the game over menu to retry the battle.
Added key customization function for map controls
You can now customize key settings for map controls as well as battle controls from Menu > System > "Control Settings."
Added enemy encounter toggle function
Added "Battle Encounters" option to Menu > System > Config. When set to OFF, you will not enter battle even if you touch enemy symbols in the field or dungeon.
*Does not apply to event battles.
Adjusted screen brightness
Added "Brightness Adjustment" option to Menu > System > Config. You can adjust the screen brightness in 101 steps.
Added automatic event skip function
Added "Automatic Event Skip" option to Menu > System > Config. When set to ON, events that you have seen once will be skipped automatically.
*Does not apply to optional long chats.
Added subtitle display during battles
Added "Subtitle Display During Battle" option to Menu > System > Config. When set to ON, subtitles will be displayed for the post-battle banter and Mystic Arte voices.
Added function to toggle icon display on the mini-map and location map
Added "Icon Display Location Map" and "Icon Display Mini-Map" options to Menu > System > Config. When set to OFF, various icons such as destinations and treasure chests will be hidden on each map.
Added function to unlock the entire location map
Added "Unlock Location Map Display" option to Menu > System > Config. When set to ON, you can display maps of places you have not yet visited.
Added voice language switching function
Added "Voice Language" option to Menu > System > Config. You can switch the voice language between Japanese and English.
Added function to adjust overall volume
Added "Overall Volume" option to Menu > System > Config. You can set the overall volume for BGM, SE, voices, and animated movies.
Added battle BGM setting function
Added "Battle BGM Setting" option to Menu > System > Config. You can enjoy the songs set in "Battle BGM Selection Settings" as the BGM played during battles.
You can set the following BGM from Menu > System > Config > "Battle BGM Selection Settings":
- Original Version Costume DLC Exclusive BGM
- Battle BGM Pack BGM*
