When the world's first full-dive VRMMO, Sword Art Online, becomes a deadly game where logging out is impossible and death in-game means death in real life, two former acquaintances, Emi (Emirun) and her one-time tutor, Reiichi (Rex), find themselves reunited inside Aincrad.
