DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT steals the show at E3 2019!
E3 2019 is finally over and what an amazing week it was for gamers! A plethora of video games were announced and of course we couldn’t resist the urge to do so as well... So we prepared this year’s E3 to be the stage of some exciting reveals for our beloved fans!
Let’s start off with DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT, a game for both old and new fans of the series. This game is for those looking for a deep and immersive adventure closely tied to Goku’s journey in the Z saga. Hold on, that’s not all! We revealed some more surprises as well. Previously teased as DRAGON BALL GAME - PROJECT Z, Bandai Namco proudly announced DRAGON BALL Z: KAKAROT during the Microsoft E3 conference. The game is set to release on PS4, Xbox One and PC in early 2020. This will be the most accurate, dramatic, and epic telling of the DRAGON BALL Z canon storyline ever made. Experience the Z saga following the steps of Kakarot - the Saiyan better known as Goku. Not only will you battle your way through nostalgia carried moments inspired by the series, but also discover long sought after answers for plot elements of the franchise. After months of speculation, we finally had a chance to reveal the highly awaited collaboration between Hidetaka Miyazaki (creator of the Dark Souls series) and George R. R. Martin (author of the A Song of Ice and Fire books, which were the basis for the hit TV series Game of Thrones). With these two pop culture geniuses together, ELDEN RING is born - an expansive fantasy Action-RPG game developed by FromSoftware for the PS4, Xbox One and PC. This is FromSoftware’’s largest game to-date; it’s set in a sprawling realm steeped in a rich and bloody history crafted by the duo.
“Building the world of ELDEN RING with Miyazaki-san and his team was a treat! The graphics, mythos, and action-RPG gameplay will deliver an unforgettable experience. I can’t wait for people to see what ELDEN RING has in store for them,” said George R.R. Martin.
After the release of the amazing Tales of Berseria and the highly anticipated definitive edition of the classic Tales of Vesperia, fans of the series excitedly awaited what would be the next step in the beloved 23 year-old JRPG series. Meet Tales of Arise, set to release for the PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2020. Boosting a new graphical engine, the new “Tales of” chapter will bring a number of gameplay tweaks and novelties, along with the series’ trademark epic story. This time our tale begins with two people, born on different worlds, each looking to change their fate and create a new future on the chaotic planet Dahna.
Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch
The 2013 PS3 exclusive was a great JRPG adventure immersed in art made by the legendary Studio Ghibli (the studio responsible for such animation classics such as Princess Mononoke and Spirited Away). After the success and critical acclaim of Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom, it was only a matter of time for a remastered version of this classic to become available on other platforms. PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch are set to be graced with Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch on September 20th. Follow Oliver’s journey as he embarks into a world inhabited by familiars and foes, all in the hopes of bringing back his mother.
