SAND LAND – Dev Diaries - Episode 2: Dungeons & Subquests
Check out the details about SAND LAND Dungeons and Subquests in the second episode of Dev Diaries.
We've already discussed the enemies and vehicles of SAND LAND, so in the second episode of Dev Diaries, it's time to delve into the intriguing Dungeons and captivating Subquests of the game. Samantha Reinert, Social Marketing Manager at Bandai Namco Entertainment America, and Keishu Minami, the Game Producer, guide us through a fascinating journey across the deserts and structures that make up the world of Sand Land.
Keishu Minami explains that it will be possible to explore the entire Sand Land desert, as well as the Demon Village, where Rao pays a significant visit to our protagonist Beelzebub to tell him about the Legendary Spring. In the Demon Village, one can gain a glimpse of how demons live in this desert world - and beware, caution is advised at every corner.
But there's much more to the game. Village ruins, small towns where people live, military bases, and dungeons: according to the producer, the SAND LAND map is large enough for players to enjoy every corner. Several dungeons are divided into levels, some small, others of medium size.
They play a crucial role in progressing through SAND LAND. It is in these dungeons that players can obtain the materials needed to customize their vehicles. There are also rarer materials used to develop and enhance vehicle parts.
Standing out among these dungeons is the Aerial Battleship, a location that unveils part of the lore of SAND LAND, marked by a war that left traces throughout the world. As players advance in the main story, they discover that the war has left deep scars, with wreckage and obstacles that can be overcome using vehicles to clear the way, whether by destroying barriers with tank shots or finding hidden alternative routes.
In addition to the main story, SAND LAND features several subquests that delve more deeply into the secrets of the inhabitants and the game world. They will be available at the Base Camp - which will be explored further in the next Dev Diaries - and encourage exploration of this fascinating desert world, enhancing the players' experience.
