SAND LAND – Dev Diaries - Episode 4: Forest Land

April 19, 2024

Check out the details about Forest Land in the fourth episode of Dev Diaries.

Enemies and Vehicles, Dungeons and Subquests, Base Camp Development: these were the themes of the previous three episodes of the Developer Diaries series and, to conclude, nothing better than talking a little about Forest Land.

In the fourth and final episode, Samantha Reinert, Social Marketing Manager at Bandai Namco Entertainment America, and Keishu Minami, the Game Producer, explore Forest Land, a green world with lush vegetation, unlike Sand Land, which is a vast expanse of desert.

Forest Land has its own villages and inhabitants, as well as monsters not found in the desert and even unique vehicles. In short, Sand Land and Forest Landwere neighboring coutries that have never been on good terms, although there is a tacit understanding of non-aggression, violated only by two small isolated conflicts. However, a minor incident involving the Forest Land Army alters the peace, and things start to get "interesting."

Among all these new features, the most intriguing is Ann, a new character from Sand Land created by Akira Toriyama himself, who harbors secrets about her past. These secrets will gradually unfold as players progress. Alongside Ann, other notable characters promise to cross the path of Beelzebub and his friends – not always in a friendly way.

Sand Land and Forest Land share similarities. After unlocking Forest Land, the region can be freely accessed at any point in the game, so there's no need to worry about completing all the subquests in Sand Land before exploring beyond the dunes.

We hope you enjoy everything SAND LAND has to offer. The game will be available on April 26th for PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S and PC, via Steam®. A demo is now available, with special gifts for those who play.
