Bandai Namco Entertainment America Inc. today announced the launch of a new Expansion Pack and free update for SUPER ROBOT WARS Y, the tactical turn-based combat game featuring an all-star cast of mechs and pilots. Coming as the series celebrates its 35th anniversary, the Expansion Pack features six series, adding eight new playable units, 26 new area missions, a new assist crew member, an “Expansion Pack Purchase Bonus” mission and a newly added “MASTER” difficulty mode. SUPER ROBOT WARS Y is available now for PlayStation®5, Nintendo Switch™ and PC via Steam®; and players can purchase the new Expansion Pack for their platform of choice starting today. The SUPER ROBOT WARS Y Expansion Pack includes six animated series: Space Runaway Ideon,Mobile Suit Gundam Char’s Counterattack Beltorchika’s Children, IDOLM@STER XENOGLOSSIA, STAR DRIVER THE MOVIE, CROSS ANGE Rondo of Angel and Dragon and EUREKA: EUREKA SEVEN HI-EVOLUTION.

A free update for all players also adds new content to the game, including area missions in all three episodes of Revol. War, which serves as a prequel to the main story, as well as NOAH Brand’s Battles, which take place prior to Chapter 7. The update includes Episode 1: “Contact” which is available independently of purchasing the Expansion Pack. The Limited Missions Visitors from Another World and The Weight of Purpose are now available, allowing players to obtain the Cyberstar and the protagonist’s mechs. The update also includes stability improvements.
