Esports: Bandai Namco Games and their Results at CEO 2019
During the weekend of June 28th-30th, CEO 2019 was held at Orlando, USA, featuring amazing fighting games tournaments. Bandai Namco was, of course, present there with TEKKEN 7, DRAGON BALL FighterZ and SOULCALIBUR VI competitions.
In this roundup, we’ll take a look at the results and highlights of CEO 2019!
CEO 2019 was the stage of another TEKKEN WORLD TOUR stop featuring the best TEKKEN 7 players on Earth. The winner this time was the South Korean player Knee, who is not afraid to play the villain. He came fully prepared to make a remarkable entrance in the arena.
After his bout against another South Korean player, Chanel, Knee ended with a perfect round using Steve Fox. Knee couldn’t resist the urge to snap. Is there a fearless avenger to defeat this guy?!
The TEKKEN WORLD TOUR continues with Dojo events across the world and the next Master event will be held in Las Vegas at EVO 2019 during the weekend of August 2-4.
Japanese player GO1 is the first Tenkaichi champion of the DRAGON BALL FighterZ World Tour 2019. He defeated fellow Japanese player, Fenritti, in the finals. This was after overcoming his long time rival SonicFox in the Top 8 bracket.
The next tournament in the tour is the Evolution Championship Series, also known as Evo. As usual, it promises intense matches and incredibly hyped moments. Who will make it out on top in August?
Azwel is a newcomer to the most recent fighter set in the Stage of History. Though this character is already marking his presence in the game’s tournaments. The final match between Bluegod and RichSticks (both American players) was highly technical. It went better for Bluegod and his Azwel, who earned one more SOULCALIBUR competition in his career. Of course, he also received a nice CEO 2019 belt as well.
