Season 18 New Playable Character

A modern-day gentleman thief whose name will go down in history—

This season, Gentle Criminal joins the fray!

The developers approached Gentle Criminal's design with the aim of creating a technical character able to outmaneuver his opponents by leaping and bounding around the stage using his Quirk, "Elasticity."

Gentle's Quirk Skill β gives elasticity to the air around him, creating a barrier capable of deflecting enemy attacks.

His Quirk Skill γ strengthens with each attack deflected, and he can also create an air trampoline usable by himself and allies. Depending on the combination of Quirk Skills used, Gentle Criminal is an incredibly flexible fighter!

Using his Quirk Skill α will penetrate the air barrier created with his Quirk Skill β, so a recommended strategy is deflecting enemy attacks while trying to land your own!

Also, when talking about Gentle Criminal, we cannot forget about his partner La Brava.

After considering various angles to showcase how they work together, the development team decided to have La Brava support Gentle through a special drone she created.

We have included tons of interactions between Gentle Criminal and La Brava, so we hope players enjoy listening to their conversations in battle!

Lastly, we put particular effort into Gentle's second Special Action, "Lover Mode," focusing on its presentation and motion.

If Gentle's Plus Chaos gauge is full it will automatically activate before his HP reaches zero, thanks to La Brava's Quirk, "Love."

During Plus Chaos, Gentle Criminal enters a special state where his attack power and reload speed are increased further, and the pair's dialogue changes to special lines that reflect the depth of his and La Brava's bond!

Season 18 Updates

New Stage: Chaos City Ver. 02

Season 18 also includes various updates.

First, we are introducing the new stage "Chaos City Ver. 02," a renovated version of the Chaos City stage.

The stage's main focus is its significantly renovated shopping district area.

The stage's above-ground area has been destroyed by Villain attacks, but a new underground area called "Tentoin Alley" has been added.

Players can now move to other areas via underground passages, and the stage is more conducive to characters who excel in ground-based and close-quarters combat, so we encourage players to try various tactics.

Research Notebook Updates

Next, there will be updates made to the Research Notebook.

We have added "Mission No. 3" as a more challenging mission to offer greater replay-ability.

The following missions have been added:

• Deal over 10,000 damage with each Battle Style
• Achieve over 12 K.O.s with each Battle Style
• Deal over 15,000 damage in a single battle (regardless of Battle Style)
• Achieve 16 K.O.s in a single battle (regardless of Battle Style)

Completing each mission will earn players points that they can use to raise their Research Notebook level, obtain Name Plates, and more.

In addition, the Research Notebook level cap has been increased.

We have added levels 31-200 and introduced new rewards including Roll Tickets, T.U.N.I.N.G. System-related items, and special Present Boxes.

Try challenging various missions to get ahold of these great items!

New Game Mode: 3-Pick Battle

We are also introducing a new game mode.

We plan to implement a "3-Pick Battle" mode from late August onward. This mode will have each player select three Battle Styles, with the player who inflicts the most damage winning.

We aimed to create a game mode that is easy to pick up and play, so we hope that players will give it a try. Details will be announced on our official social media channels closer to the release date, so stay tuned!
